Executive Function Coaching

What are Executive Functions?

Executive function refers to a set of mental skills that we use every day to learn, work and manage daily life. These skills include flexible thinking, working memory and self-control. Trouble with our executive functioning can make it difficult to learn new tasks, be organised, follow directions, focus our attention and handle our emotions. Many people experience issues with executive dysfunction, it is particularly common in individuals who identify as having ADHD, ASC, AuDHD, dyslexia or dyspraxia.

How can Executive Function Coaching help me?

If you find that you are always leaving things to the last minute, your house or work space is messy and disorganised, or you find yourself forgetting important appointments or tasks. This may indicate that you are experiencing executive dysfunction. In Executive Function coaching sessions we can look at these problem areas with compassion, and come up with achievable solutions, that strengthen the skills you already have, in order to develop new skills, so that life feels manageable and has more balance.
