CBT Coaching

Neuro-diverse affirming | Fully funded by Access to Work

What is Coaching?

Coaching focuses on the here and now. It is goal driven, and seeks to recognise and strengthen the many skills and talents that you already have. Clients who seek coaching often recognise that something has become stuck in their life, or perhaps their life has taken a different direction than they planned, and they want to steer it back on course. Coaching is a conversation and a relationship that acts like a compass to guide you back in the right direction, and empowers you to take charge of your life and journey.

What is CBT Coaching?

CBT coaching helps to create shifts in your thinking, feelings and behaviours, so that you can unlock your potential and achieve the things you want to out of life or at work. CBT coaching can identify internal blocks in your thinking or behaviours, and give you new tools and skills to overcome obstacles in your life.

Neuro-diverse Affirming CBT coaching

CBT coaching has shown to be very effective in reducing symptoms of ADHD. This includes overcoming difficulties with procrastination, decluttering, rejection dysphoria and masking, organisation issues and time management problems. CBT coaching recognises the strengths you already have, and helps to build a acceptance and compassion for yourself.

CBT coaching has shown to be beneficial for clients with ASC who often struggle with difficulties such as burnout, due to sensory overload and the need to mask in social situations and at work. In coaching we can help to identify cycles of burn-out, and put in helpful strategies to reduce this. As well as building confidence, to develop a sense of self-compassion and Autistic pride.
